Watching pornography can lead to erectile dysfunction in men
According to a news report on MedicalNewsToday, researchers have found an association between pornography and erectile dysfunction in younger men.
What is ED?
Erectile dysfunction (ED) also referred to as impotence, is a condition where a man is unable to achieve or maintain erection long enough for sexual intercourse.
The condition is a very common one, especially among older men, and it is estimated that most men would experience the condition at some point in their lives. ED usually creates a significant amount of stress on a man and if not properly managed, can lead to problems with self-esteem and depression.
In recent times, the number of men with ED under the age of forty has significantly increased, and researchers have found that pornography is in a way responsible for this increase. They identified pornography-induced erectile dysfunction (PIED) and pornography-induced abnormally low libido.
HOW?
👉When a man watches porn, his brain is flooded with dopamine. An overload of dopamine usually causes problems. His brain becomes overwhelmed by the overload of chemicals, and it automatically takes away some of the dopamine receptors.
👉Although the brain continues to release the same levels of dopamine in response to pornography, eventually there are fewer receptors to receive the messages. Consequently, watching pornography no longer arouses him as much or as quickly. Then he begins to look for more extreme sexual content to achieve the original sensation.
👉As a result of pornography overload, sexual activities that would normally give him a burst of dopamine are no longer enough to sustain him. The man no longer becomes aroused in the presence of his partner, and constantly looks for pornography to give him the sensation he needs.
👉Regular sexual intercourse with his partner no longer meets his expectations, resulting in a decline in dopamine. This can lead to ED. Men who suffer from ED when in the presence of a partner but experience no difficulty achieving an erection when watching pornography are said to have PIED. PIED has been found to lead to other biological and psychological problems.

👉 Turn off the electric or gas cooker
👉 Get a large pot lid and slide it over the pot, thus will reduce the strenght of the fire.
👉 When the fire has reduced, open the pot lid and pour baking soda or cooking flour and the fire will go off.
👉 You can use a fire extinguisher ABC or any suitable type you have to put out the fire.
WARNING: Do not pour water on a burning oil, this will spread out in flames and heat which is very dangerous.

3. White meat
Not just any type of meat…white meat or lean meat is the best type of meat to keep the fat away from your belly. Free-range chicken, fish and grass-fed beef are scientifically proven to burn fat. In fact, there’s a study that showed grass-fed beef contains natural CLA (conjugated linoleic acid). And don’t bother trying to take CLA supplements because they are not the same as the naturally occurring one. Besides, the supplement has more side effects than it has benefits.
4. Protein powder
What’s fascinating about eating proteins is that your body will burn 30% of its calories after eating protein-rich foods. Protein isn’t just for people who want to bulk up in the gym…you too can benefit from it. Protein powder contains amino acids that build muscle and burn fat. Add two spoonfuls of the powder to your smoothie for a belly fat burning drink. And the good thing about protein powder is that it’s easily available in health food stores.
By the way, when adding protein powder to your smoothie, make sure it’s a healthy smoothie. Not one of those sugary types or chocolate smoothies. You can make your own smoothie by blending unsweetened yogurt, fruits and low fat milk.

Eggs digest slowly so you will feel full for a long time, reducing your chances of looking for a snack. You should also know that eggs from free-range chickens contains more nutrients.
Louisiana State University did their own research and found that people who had eggs for breakfast lost more weight than those who ate bagels. But before you start cooking up omelets for breakfast, talk to your doctor about your cholesterol levels. They might be too high.

Eating Little Strawberries Daily Ward-off Breast Cancer – New Study
Eating just 15 strawberries a day protected mice from aggressive breast cancer in a new medical study. Scientists used an extract from the Alba strawberry to feed female mice with breast cancer tumors, as well as lab-grown cancer cells.
In total, the strawberries made up 15 percent of the mice’s diet. That is just shy of the recommended daily amount of fruit we should eat each day, and would be equivalent to a punnet of strawberries.
After five weeks on a strawberry-boosted diet, the mice showed no sign of progressing cancer spread – and in many, their tumors even shrank.
Dr Maurizio Battino, from the Marche Polytechnic University in Italy, said: ‘We saw a significant reduction in the weight and volume of the tumor.’
The cancer cells used in the experiments were from a highly aggressive and invasive strain.
However, the researchers stressed that results from animal tests do not necessarily mean the same effects will be seen in humans.
Previous studies have already shown that eating between 10 and 15 strawberries a day can make arteries healthier by reducing blood cholesterol levels.
Phenolic plant compounds in the fruits are thought to be responsible for the beneficial effects.
Breast cancer cell line studies showed that strawberry extract blocked biological processes involved in tumour growth and spread.
The activity of several genes playing a role in metastasis, or cancer spread, were reduced.
At the same time, one gene believed to suppress the spread of breast cancer, Htatip2, became more active.
Dr Battino said: ‘The majority of diseases, including cancer, are complex, and involve complex interactions between cellular and molecular systems that determine the development of the disease.
‘These results are without a doubt valid for understanding potential effects of strawberries on breast cancer and the molecular mechanisms involved, but they must be complemented with clinical and epidemiological studies to verify whether humans experience the same positive effects as we have observed in mice.’
The study appears in the latest edition of the journal Scientific Reports.
